Any text you type and any logo or image you add remains yours. It is stored only on your device. We claim no rights over it, and it is never uploaded anywhere.

Agreement
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Sahil Partyal ("we", "our", "us"), the developer of Bigtext Board ("the app"). By downloading or using the app on Android or iOS, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.
These terms work alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is handled.

What the App Does
Bigtext Board displays the text you type across the full screen of your device, so it can be read from a distance — at an airport pickup, on a shop counter, at an event, or during a presentation.
The app works completely offline. There is no account, no sign-up, and nothing you type is sent anywhere.

Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Bigtext Board on devices you own or control. You may not copy, sell, rent, sub-licence, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app or any part of it.

Free Version & Advertising
The free version is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob, and includes a limited feature set:
- 4 fonts and 6 colours
- 10 saved recent messages
- All three display modes
- No custom logo
Upgrading to Bigtext Pro removes all advertising. How advertising data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

Bigtext Pro Plans
Bigtext Pro unlocks all 12 fonts, all 15 colours, your own logo on the display, 50 saved messages, and removes every ad. It is available in three forms:
Monthly
Billed every month. Renews automatically until you cancel.
Yearly
Billed once a year at a lower effective rate. Renews automatically until you cancel.
Lifetime
A single one-time payment. Does not renew and is never charged again.
The exact price and billing period are always shown on the purchase screen inside the app, in your own currency, before you confirm anything. We never display a price that has not come from the store itself.

Automatic Renewal & Cancelling
Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, and your payment method is charged at the same price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
You can cancel at any time and keep Pro features until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Android — Google Play Store app > your profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Bigtext Board > Cancel subscription
iOS — Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Bigtext Board > Cancel subscription
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. You must cancel through the store as described above.

Payments, Refunds & Price Changes
All payments are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never receive or store your card details.
Refunds are handled by the store under its own policy — see Google Play refunds or Apple billing support. If you believe you were charged in error, write to us and we will help you raise it.
If we ever change the price of a subscription, the store will notify you before the change takes effect, and you may cancel if you do not accept the new price.

Restoring Purchases
If you reinstall the app or move to a new device, use the Restore purchases option on the Bigtext Pro screen. Your purchase is tied to the store account you bought it with, so sign in with the same account.

Acceptable Use
You are responsible for whatever you display using the app. Do not use Bigtext Board to show content that is unlawful, threatening, harassing, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights.
Because everything stays on your device, we never see, store, or moderate what you type — which is exactly why this responsibility is entirely yours.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, and you use it at your own risk. We aim to keep it working reliably but cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
In particular, we are not responsible for a missed meeting, a missed pickup, or any other loss arising from a device failure, a flat battery, a screen that is not visible enough in bright light, or any other circumstance outside our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Changes to These Terms & Governing Law
We may update these terms as the app changes. The date at the bottom of this page shows when they were last revised, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend access if these terms are seriously breached.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction over any dispute — without affecting any consumer rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.
